Alliance waters are now open, on the condition that social distancing guide lines are followed. Keep socially distanced from other anglers and other people who may be on the bankside, unless they live in the same household as you, also do not fish within 2 metres of a public right of way (footpath etc)

Please read any posters that the TAA have put up on site and also keep a check on (Angling Trust Guide lines) for the latest advice on staying safe while fishing.

Killingworth Lake

Killingworth Small Lake Killingworth Large Lake
These two lakes are regularly stocked and the large lake in particular is developing into a very good fishery. There is a very good natural recrutment in the large lake with the Roach in particular spawning very successfully. The Environment Agency and North Tyneside Council have been most supportive in the development of these lakes. The lakes contain carp, bream, roach, tench, perch, crucians, rudd and pike. There is wheelchair access all along the southern bank of the larger lake. Day tickets can be obtained from Killingworth Leisure Center at a cost of £4.00 per day.

News

A closed season has been introduced on Killingworth Lake which only applies to Pike fishing.

The season for fishing for pike will be from the 1st of October to the 30th of April the following year inclusive of these dates.
